The Kingdom Of God
Matthew 6:33; Colossians 1:12-13

Mark 4: 3, 14 "Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow; The sower soweth the word."" The kingdom of God is God's reign; it is His dominion; it is wherever His will prevails. Any domain where God's character and power have a free course is God's kingdom. Every kingdom takes on the character of its king. The kingdom of darkness is ruled by the king of darkness, that is, the devil. The kingdom of light is ruled by the King of light, that is, Jesus Christ. The kingdom of God is the domain of His express will. When you got born-again, you were delivered from the authority of darkness (satan's kingdom) and were translated into the kingdom of God's dearly beloved Son (Col.1:13-14). It is a fact, not a promise, that satan has no authority over the Believer in Christ. We have come under the dominion of God; we are under His authority, not satan's (Rom.6:14). The kingdom of God comes by the preaching of God's Word, it does not come by observation (Luke17:20). Wherever the word of a king is there his kingdom will be (Eccl.8:4). Therefore, holding unto the word of a king is holding unto his kingdom. To let go of a king's word is to let go of his kingdom. In the same vein, the kingdom of God is revealed by the preaching of God's Word. Wherever the Word of God is celebrated, there is the kingdom of God made manifest. The Word of God preached is the kingdom of God let loose. To embrace the Word is to embrace the kingdom. Let the Word prevail in you as you give it right of way. Put it in your mouth and lay it up in your heart. This is the kingdom of God.
