Developing A Strong Spirit
John 6:63; 1 John 2:14

1 Timothy 6:11 "But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness."" Man is a spirit being; he has a soul and lives in a body (1Thess.5:23). The spirit man is the real man. The body is the house of man. Man is not his body; he is a spirit being. Man does not have a spirit; he is a spirit being (Gen. 1:26; John 4:24). Strength, either physical or spiritual, depends on diet and exercise. The food of the soul is intellectual knowledge; the food of the spirit is the Word of God. The Word declares: "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"" (Matt. 4:4). To build a strong spirit, one must feed on the Word and practice it regularly. We feed on the Word through meditation. We practice the Word as we act it out in our daily life. Doing the Word is exercising our spirits in the realm of the Godkind. As we act on the Word, we train our spirits to yield to the Word first irrespective of our external environment. This is the sure way to build strength into your spirit. Your body is borne by your spirit. A strong spirit makes for a strong body (Prov. 18:14). Beloved, as you grow stronger in your spirit, your capacity to accomplish more in life, in career, in ministry increases. Success is natural with one who has a strong spirit. Be strong within as you feed on the Word and act upon it!

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Joshua 1:8; 1 Timothy 4: 15

My Solid Front (Confession)
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am not just a hearer of the Word; I am a doer of the Word. I give attention to the Word in Jesus Name. Amen.
