You Have Authority Over Sin
Romans 6:6; Titus 2:11-12
Romans 6: 14 "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.""
The sin problem has been solved. Jesus solved it; He came into this world and gave His life a ransom for our sins (John 3:16). Not only did He bear our sins on Himself, He also became our sin. He was made sin for us (2 Cor. 5:21). Man need not suffer for their sins anymore, neither do they need to keep on in sin. Why? Because Jesus Christ has become everyone's sin offering, once and for all (Heb. 9:11-13). The Believer is not a sinner. A sinner is someone with the nature of sin to sin. The Believer is a new creature in Christ with a new nature created after God in true holiness and righteousness (Eph. 4:24). The man in Christ has a new spirit and a new heart (2 Cor. 5:17; Ezek. 36:26-27). Therefore, make no mistakes about confusing the Believer for the sinner. It is of uttermost importance to note that grace is the only cure for sin (Titus 2:11- 12). The Word of God teaches that the Believer has dominion over sin by the power of God's grace in Christ Jesus. Grace is all that Jesus Christ has done for us, and all He is doing through us and in us. We must reckon to our account all that Jesus Christ has done for us to live above sin. This is the power of God's grace at work in us. Hallelujah!
Other Scriptures for Meditation: Romans 6:1- end; 1 Corinthians 6:11
My Solid Front (Confession)
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that sin no longer has dominion over me for I am not under the law but under grace. Amen.
