Engaging The Mind Of Christ
Romans 12:1-2; Philippians 2:5
1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."" The Word of God reveals that the Believer is a possessor of the mind of Christ. However, it is worthy of note to know that an effective mind cannot think without thoughts just as much as good eyes cannot see without light. Therefore, it takes thoughts to engage the mind as much as it takes light to engage the eyes. The mind of Christ is engaged by thinking the thoughts of Christ. What are the thoughts of Christ? It is the Word of God. You see, the Word communicates the thoughts of God. As we meditate on the Word, we engage and activate the mind of Christ in us; we put it to work. Therefore, meditating on the Word is activating or engaging the mind of Christ. This is the way to not conform to this world (Romans12:1-2). This is the scriptural way to transform from glory to glory. Beloved, as we engage the mind of Christ by thinking the thoughts of Christ or meditating on the Word, we access the wisdom of God laid up for us. Wisdom for all round success comes by engaging the mind of Christ (Joshua1:8). We can also transform from glory to glory instead of conforming to this world by engaging the mind of Christ. Engaging the mind of Christ is meditating in the Word; it brings about the renewing of the mind.
Other Scriptures for Meditation: 2 Corinthians 3:18; Colossians 3:16
My Solid Front (Confession)
In the Name of Jesus, I engage the mind of Christ by meditating in the Word of God and I am transformed from glory to glory. Amen.
