Supplicate In Prayer
John 16:26; 1 John 5:13-15
1 Timothy 2: 1 "I exhort therefore,
that, first of all, supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men."" The prayer of supplication is the prayer of request. It is presenting one's request or case before the Father for.His prompt response. It is making one's case before the Judge of.heaven and earth with one's strong reasons or points of fact, proof orevidence. It entails bringing up God's Word for His consideration. It is likened to what a lawyer does in the court of law for his client: He
presents his strong reasons in the law, so judgement can be made in his client's favour. In the same vein, we come to God with His promises as touching the matter over which we desire His justice or intervention. We come in the Name of Jesus Christand with His Word, and we are sure of His steadfast and gracious response. Hallelujah! Beloved, the Word declares: John 16:23-24 "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing.Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."" Bring up your strong reasons from God's Word and ask what you desire, abynd He will answer you. Again, th word declares in Matthew 7:7, "Ask and ye shall
receive; seek and ye shall find; knock and the door shall be opened unto you...""
