Religion Is Vague
James 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 4:20

2 Timothy 3:5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."" Religion is an empty search for reality; it can never find God because God is not in it. Religion is a look-alike of the way to God. The nearer one thinks one is to God through religion, the farther He is from one in reality. Religion seems to point the way to God, but it is a far cry from Him. God is not in religion and can never be in it. Christianity is not a religion; it is relationship with God. In Christianity, we meet, firsthand, the God that has been widely publicized by religion. Religion gives the form of God, but Christianity substantiates Him. Little wonder religion salivates with so much about God that it cannot offer. Jesus Christ did not bring a religion to the world; He came to introduce His heavenly Father to man (John1:18). What a reality! His introduction of His Father was epic. He came to unveil God to man, not conceptualize God to man. Religion is the direct opposite of Christianity. The thin line of difference between religion and true Christianity is the fact that Christianity deals with the naked Word of God. Religion talks the Word but never practices it; religion has a resemblance of the truth but lacks the verity of it. It is ever searching for the truth, but never arrives at it. Beloved, anything that does not substantiate Jesus Christ (The Living Word) as being alive and powerful today as He was yesterday is mere religion. The Word declares in Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever."" Detest religion with a passion. Embrace true Christianity.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: James 1:22; James 2:19-20

My Solid Front (Confession)
My Solid Front (Confession): In the Name of Jesus, I declare that the Word of God is living in me. I practice the Word daily in all areas of my life. I walk in a living relationship with Jesus Christ. Amen.
