Pray Without Ceasing

Pray Without Ceasing
Luke 18:1; I Thessalonians 5:17

Romans 12:11 "Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving The Lord" Prayer is communing with God. It is such a privilege we have in God to commune with Him. God loves to fellowship with us because we were made in His image. Prayer is an indispensable part of our walk with God. A lot can be accomplished by the Spirit through prayer. God wants you to look to Him for all that pertains to life and godliness. We were made to trust God for a living. He made us with no capacity to worry; we are to cast all our burdens on Him. The Word declares: "be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanks giving let your requests be made known to Him."" (Phil 4:6) Prayer is not an intermittent discharge. It is not a spare tool we use once in a while when the regular one goes bad. Prayer is a life we have been called to as Priests of the Most High God. One of the reasons many fail in life is prayerlessness. Though God has blessed us with all that pertains to life and godliness, yet we cannot access them without prayer. We can access grace through prayer (Heb. 4:16). Take your concerns to God in prayers, no matter how big or small they may seem. Do it in faith (confident expectation of God's response) and you will enjoy a speedy response from God.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Ephesians 6:18; Colossians 4:2.
