Keeping A Good Conscience

Keeping A Good Conscience
Acts 24:16; Romans 9:1

1 Timothy 1:19-20 "Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme."" Faith floats on the sea of good conscience, without which it shipwrecks. Faith, though very important, yet if not kept with good conscience can be punctured. Faith in God must embrace with it a good conscience to see the light of day. A good conscience is an inward testimony of truth and of faithful living. Your conscience is the voice of your spirit within you witnessing to truth. The testimony of your spirit of God and of your dealings with men must be kept right and correct all the time to keep your faith afloat. Any time the testimony of your conscience does not bring rejoicing to you, it is sign that you are not walking straight before God. At such times what do you do? You go to God in prayers and repent before Him by confessing any wrong you have done. He will forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. At some other times you may need to forgive those who have wronged you or make peace with those you have wronged. Beloved, whatever the situation may be, make sure to always keep the testimony of your conscience in line with God's Word. You will profit with your faith as you learn to always do this.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Acts 23:1; 1 Timothy 4:2

My Solid Front (Confession)
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I keep a good conscience always and I profit with my faith. Amen.
