THE UNFAILING LOVE OF GOD
John 3:16; 1 John 4:16

1 John 4:8 "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love The Word tells us that God is love, that is, every fibre of His being is love. God is all love and nothing of hatred. The Word reveals in 1 John 1:5 that God is light and in Him there's no darkness at all. "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all" (1 John 1:5). Therefore, God is not responsible for the destruction and wickedness running in this world. John 3:16 tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". It was because of God's abundant love for humanity that He gave His Son Jesus Christ for the salvation of the world. In fact, the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ were proof of God's unfailing love for the whole world. God loves you. Jesus Christ is proof of God's love for you. God's love for you is as real and as certain as the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who came to earth all because of God's love for you. Jeremiah 31:3 tells us, "The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee". God's love for you is everlasting. Again in Lamentations 3:22-23, the Word declares, "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassion fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness". God's love for you is unfailing. Believe in the love of God.
